Memory Care Guidance in Oregon

Memory care decisions can bring safety, supervision, daily routine, and family communication questions all at once. Hope in Motion Project helps Oregon families prepare for those conversations.

What memory care guidance can include

Memory care communities and care settings are designed for people who need support related to dementia, memory loss, wandering risk, supervision, or structured daily routines. The right questions depend on the person's needs, timing, and location.

Hope in Motion Project helps families organize what they already know and identify what they still need to ask providers. We do not provide medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, or guaranteed placement.

Questions families often ask

How is supervision handled? What happens if needs change? How are routines, activities, medications, meals, and family updates managed?

Details that help the search

Where care is needed, current living situation, safety concerns, mobility, daily support needs, timing, and any provider preferences you already have.

Memory care and other care types

Some families start with assisted living and later realize memory care may be more appropriate. Others need in-home support, adult foster care, hospice, or another option. If the category is unclear, a callback request can still be submitted and discussed.

Next step

Use the short request form to save the inquiry and ask the care team to contact you. You can continue into the full assessment afterward, but the callback request is already saved once submitted.
